Not sure where to begin when it comes to pricing your products?
Or perhaps you want to feel more confident with what you're selling?
This is a mini course for makers and small retailers to help find the right price for every product they sell.
I've been supporting small businesses for nearly 10 years, and one of the first things I talk about with a new product/retail client is pricing. And we usually need to put prices up by about 20%! It's so common to see creatives charging too little - and then struggling to pay the bills or afford the help they need.
This short course will set you up with tools and ideas to get to the best prices for you, helping you to sell more and get a better profit margin.
Maybe you'll be at the lower end of the market. Maybe you'll be at the higher end. Whatever's right for you, the numbers will add up and ensure you're making a decent living (and not just funding a hobby).
For just £25, you'll receive:
- Template spreadsheet to calculate your profit margin
- Video tutorials on how to use the spreadsheet
- Tips on how to understand your market, identify your position, and cover your overheads

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
Once downloaded. you can keep and reuse the spreadsheet for as long as you like! The online course materials will be online as long as they are relevant. I don't have plans to take them down, but anything is possible.
Will you review my pricing for me?
This course doesn't include one-on-one consultancy. If you'd like my recommendations on your offerings, pricing, and branding, please get in touch.
Are you qualified to help me with my pricing?
This is a common sense approach to pricing based on a decade of working with small businesses in retail. I'm not an accountant, so please seek one if that's what you need. This course will give you a structure to look at the costs for your products, and an insight into how to compare your products to similar ones in the market.
Do you account for VAT?
I discuss VAT in the course, but I always recommend double checking your VAT obligations with a qualified accountant. The spreadsheet will give you a net-of-VAT price for your products, and you'll need to add VAT where applicable.
